In 1980, we followed our dreams of becoming
grape growers and purchased 40 acres of land
in Alexander Valley. Working part-time at
Hewlett Packard, Mike spent the next 8 years
developing the vineyard while Carole become
involved in the community. In 1988 after our
last daughter went to college, we moved to
"God's Country."
We first sold our grapes to Beringer Vineyards
in Napa County. Since 1995, we have sold our
Cabernet grapes to Clos du Bois in Alexander
Valley, and our Cabernet has consistently
ranked among the best in barrel tasting there.
Though we no longer grow Zinfandel, we sold
our Zin to Stryker Sonoma, Seghesio and
Rosenblum Cellars.
